The MP-2L LTE MIMO magnetic puck antenna is a low profile, permanent puck antenna offering two multi-band LTE elements to complement LTE routers with two antenna ports. Ideal for vehicle roofs, metal enclosure and cabinets, the MP-2L antenna is housed in a robust radome and is mounted by way of a high pull strength magnet at the base of the unit. Ideal for applications where drilling a hole for a permanent mount antenna is undesirable.

The antenna is fed by two coaxial cables and cable length and/or connector type can be customised.

The MP-2L is one of a range of puck antennas designed for a wide breadth of fixed and mobile 4G access applications.

A permanent mount version of this antenna called the CMO is also available.

The antenna is fed by two coaxial cables and cable length and/or connector type can be customised. Once mounted correctly, the CMO is IP67 rated.

The CMO is one of a range of puck antennas designed for a wide breadth of fixed and mobile 4G access applications.

A magnetic version of this antenna called the MP-2L is also available.

EAD range of CPx puck antennas IP67 rated

EAD puck antennas IP67 rated. EAD is pleased to announce that it’s range of CPx puck antennas is now IP67 rated.

An IP (International Protection or also known as Ingress Protection) rating is a system of classifying the level to which a mechanical casing or electrical enclosure can withstand intrusion by dust and moisture/water. IP67 is a common requirement for outdoor antenna installations and means that it is totally protected against the ingress of dust and also protected against the effect of immersion between 15 cm and 1M.

The range of EAD puck antennas including the following models are all now confirmed to be IP67 compliant when correctly installed onto a flat enclosed mounting surface such as vehicle roof or watertight enclosure:

CPO – GSM/3G puck antenna
CMO – MIMO 4G/LTE puck antenna
CMG – MIMO 4G/LTE + GPS/GLONASS puck antenna
CLG – 4G/LTE + GPS/GLONASS puck antenna

CMO – 4G LTE MIMO puck antenna

The CMO is 4G LTE MIMO puck antenna operating at 4G/LTE multiband frequencies from 690-2700 MHz. A permanent, through-hole mount antenna, the CMO has two 4G/LTE/Multiband elements enabling MIMO operation in discreet, robust housing.

With peak gain ranging across the bands from 1 dBi to 3.5 dBi, the CMO offers an effective solution for mobile 4G and LTE MIMO applications offering support for 3G and GPRS services if required.

The CMO mounts via a threaded stud and is held in place by a robust locking nut. In conjunction with the gasket underneath, a waterproof seal against a flat mounting surface can be formed ensuring that the antenna is suited to continuous outdoor deployment. The CMO antenna operates most effectively if it is mounted onto a metal surface, enclosure or bracket. The mounting hole size is 20mm.

Supplied as standard with 2 x RG174 cables, the antenna can be customised with a number of connectors including SMA, TS9, FME, TNC, CRC9.

The CMG antenna is the CMO, but with an added GPS/GLONASS element.

The formal part number for the CMO is FCMO35303. For example, the CMO with 2M cables would be FCMO35303-SMSM-2K.
